Internships

The ArtVan Program offers internship opportunities to students!

Interns will receive:

- Supervision for artists, Expressive Arts therapy students and social service students by a Registered Art therapist

- Exposure to diverse cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds and a wide age range of both girls and boys ages four to seventeen

- Exposure to a variety of art techniques and the use of the arts as a therapeutic modality in the healing & discovery process.

Duties:

- Assisting Artistic Director and Program Coordinator in the planning, implementation & follow up of an ArtVan session.

- Take a lead in designing a project

- Assist in the curating of an ArtVan youth exhibit

- Maintain communication with Artistic Director & Program Coordinator

- Maintain photographic/visual/written documentation
